Freelance Account Director Twickenham, Surrey
Jackson Rose currently have an exciting opportunity for a (Freelance) Account Director to join their specialist loyalty marketing client who has a reputation for excellence, for being world class and for its full service capabilities, delivering some of the world’s leading loyalty programs.>
This is a new 6 month long contract role within our client’s fast growing business, which is focused on providing a high quality, marketing services offering across a diverse range of industries in the private and public sectors. Our client is also a division of one of the biggest internationally networked media, communications and services providers.
Our client is currently looking to recruit an Account Director with four years’ creative marketing agency environment experience (BTL/SP) and awareness of both financial services sector (ideally credit card products) and partnership marketing. This talented Account Director will lead the team and help deliver an exciting international partnership marketing programme, acquire partners, manage partner relationships, develop creative execution for communication of partnerships to B2B and B2C audiences and build a web portal for them. The role will be demanding and it will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to play a leading role on an important new account that has great growth potential.
You will act as the project’s lynchpin and manage specialist partnership and creative teams so that work is delivered in line with the client’s briefs. It is anticipated that this will involve: attending and leading, stakeholder meetings, ensuring that the project implementation plans are followed and any areas of risk highlighted, managing the development of creative for multiple international markets, project reporting and securing incremental revenues from multiple budget holders in the client’s business. Once the initial programme has been delivered, the Account Director will expected to work closely with the Business Development team to identify new areas to provide its unique blend of services to their client.
You should have: 4 years+ experience working within a creative marketing agency environment (ideally BTL/SP/DM), financial service sector (ideally credit card products) awareness, strong awareness of partnership marketing and offer development, experience of working with senior client-side staff, a proven ability to manage complex programmes involving multiple stakeholders (including both client and supplier contacts) and tight deadlines, an excellent understanding of the creative and production process both in print and digital, the ability to create proposals or presentations and present them to varied audiences, strong strategic planning skills and strong leadership skills. You must therefore be a motivational and inspiring leader who embraces and enjoys managing a variety of tasks, challenges and people.
