About the Role
We now have an exciting opportunity for an Events Manager to oversee all regional events involving distributors and staff.
This role is based in Uxbridge.
The salary accompanying this role: Circ. £45k
EXPERIENCE:
Min. 3 years’ experience in international event management, Organisation of large no. multi-national delegates (circ. 20k), Experience in handling event budgets of $500,000+, Working as part of an international team,Negotiating event property contracts
Candidate Requirements
Excellent negotiating skills, Exceptional administrative and organizational skills,Budget management skills, Effective communicator (verbally and in writing), Good interpersonal skills and customer service oriented, Ability to work independently or part of an international team, Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively, Excellent attention to detail, Good PC skills (MS Office essential), Must be prepared to travel, including at weekends and occasionally at short notice, Role involves some evening and weekend work, so candidate must be flexible in terms of working hours, Fluent in English, but additional languages would be highly desirable, English and Maths grades to at least GCSE or equivalent, College or University graduate.Role
Details of the role include:
Planning, organizing and/or coordinating distributor and staff logistics for all regional events, Reviewing and negotiating event property contracts, Effectively managing event budgets, Providing on-site event support, as required, to Director and above, Identifying and rolling out our best practices for event planning across the EMEA region, Interacting with staff/management at all levels throughout the organization, as well as top Distributors, destination management companies (DMCs), outside vendors and service providers
