Our client is one of Europe’s leading providers of integrated communications solutions, They have been established for nearly 30 years and are considered to be amongst the very best at what they do in terms of product, solutions and services. They are looking to recruit a pre sales support engineer to join their rapidly expanding team in Marlow. .
You will be responsible for assisting the sales teams in all technical aspects of products and services supplied by the client. You will have suitable training or qualifications and be able to demonstrate experience in this field. As part of the pre-sales team, you will need to have good client interfacing skills and will be able to provide technical consultancy on audio-visual and video conferencing solutions. The role involves surveying client sites in order to establish the optimum audio-visual specification and producing system drawings and documentation. You must have exceptional project management skills – Prince 2, have experience as an engineer with hands on operational responsibilities, have detailed knowledge of all manufacturer products plus the ability to translate this technical knowledge into a customer friendly format. .
You will need to be able to put together technical drawings and schematics using CAD or Star Draw plus have knowledge of a number of audio and visual systems. .
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and reporting skills, initiative, ability to multi task and the desire to take ownership tasks and see through to completion in a professional manner. .
