Hotel Sales Manager Reading, Berkshire
We currently have an exciting opportunity working as Sales Manager for one of the busiest 4* hotels in a vibrant area of Berkshire ideally located to draw in visitors to nearby attractions such as Reading Football Club, Legoland and Ascot Race course.
The successful candidate will be reporting into the Sales Director and working alongside the Hotel Sales Team, the Corporate Sales & Marketing Department and Central Reservations Office.
You will assist in the co-ordination of all activities involved with the selling and promoting of the Hotel and Group, through the successful achievement of the Sales and Marketing Plan.
Other duties will include:
1.To represent the Hotel and at all in-house presentations, exhibitions / trade shows or such like and similarly to any professional bodies or organisations, at all times portraying the highest possible standards of both personal and company image.
2.In conjunction with the Director of Sales, to maintain all aspects of competitor awareness and carry out on a regular basis a study of competitor hotels and hotel companies.
3.To keep up to date knowledge and records on all the Corporate Office Sales and Marketing activities.
4.In conjunction with the Director of Sales, to communicate our Sales and Marketing activities to the Corporate Office
5.To assist the Director of Sales to analyse and evaluate Sales and Marketing activities to measure value and result.
