We currently have an exciting opportunity for a large luxury goods client of ours for a Corporate Communications Strategy executive.You will have come from a Marketing Communications / PR / CSR role that will have had a reasonably large element of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) handling or Ethical Trading communications and have an interest in a career in the Diamond industry. You will enjoys thinking on your feet and have a life that will allow a certain amount of international travel.... approx 1 week in 8
The core responsibilities of the successful applicant will be :-
Communications
- Deliver the communications strategy in line with corporate goals and in conjunction with the Communications Manager.
- Develop contacts with high profile, influential external stakeholders, providing self and senior management with the opportunity to convey key messages to such audiences.
- To take proactive stance on issues likely to arise.Gauge external reactions to issues and supervise the drafting of appropriate responses.
- To protect and improve the corporate reputation of the client as part of the group by supporting critical effective communications strategies with stakeholders.
- To help develop a proactive communications and engagement (including effective media) strategy to deliver and build benefits to Shareholders / Stakeholders.
- To develop and communicate core messages to the Key Account Managers, Brokers and trade.
- Consults with Extranet Editor on high-value content areas, e.g. trend letters, product Digest, features, Business Plan Builder etc.
- Oversees all editorial processes, ensuring quality of output, clear roles and responsibilities, and consistency of presentation. Work with Sightholder Extranet Editor to define editorial strategy that adds value to clients.
- Preparation of articles, press releases, speeches and Q&As
- Copywriting of brochures and other corporate social responsibility collateral
